Perth SC moved into next weekend's All Flags Grand Final after a 4-1 victory against Stirling Lions in the Preliminary Final at the BGC Stadium - Dorrien Gardens on Sunday afternoon.

First half goals from Antonio Naglieri and a David Onoforo penalty gave Perth a two-goal lead at the break, and Andreas Oliviera and Ian McMurray added two more in the second half to send Perth into next week's final against Western Knights, while the Lions consolation goal came from Ndumba Makeche.

Perth Coach Graham Normanton was delighted with the result. "After the disappointment of last week I thought we passed the ball around really well, and the performance of the side today was outstanding," Normanton said.

Western Knights 2 - 0 Perth SC Print E-mail
Western Knights moved into the All Flags Grand Final with a hard-fought 2-0 win against Perth SC at Nash Field on Saturday.

It was a tight contest all afternoon, but second half goals from Anthony Campbell and Stuart Montgomery were enough for Carl Medica's side to beat Perth at home for the first time since 2004.

The Knights move into the October 2 final at Inglewood's 6PR Stadium, where they will play the winner of Perth or Stirling Lions, who meet in next week's preliminary final at BGC Stadium - Dorrien Gardens.

Stirling Lions 2 - 3 Perth SC Print E-mail

Perth SC moved into next week's Major semi-final of the All Flags Finals Series, after an amazing comeback against Stirling Lions at Macedonia Park on Saturday afternoon.

Graham Normanton's side were 2-0 down inside three minutes, Phil Arnold and Bobby Wilson scoring.

But goals from Andreas Oliviera and David Onoforo made it 2-2 at the break, the winner coming from the penalty spot from Onoforo with nine minutes remaining, and although the Lions threw everything forward, Perth held on for a famous victory.

Swan United have kept their survival hopes alive, after a smash and grab raid against Perth SC at BGC Stadium, with a 4-1 victory in the APB State Premier League.

Perth SC 1 - 2 Balcatta SC Print E-mail

Balcatta confirmed their Premier League survival with a surprise 2-1 win against league leaders Perth SC at BGC Stadium - Dorrien Gardens in the final game of Round 20 in the APB Premier Division on Sunday.

Second half goals from Nick Tatasciore and Lucas Whitehouse gave Balcatta the lead, and although David Onoforo scored on 67 minutes to make the game tight at the end, they held on and celebrated in the changing rooms afterwards.

The home side, who knew a win would take them clear at the top of the table, made one change to the side that beat Western Knights last week, with Antonio Naglieri passing a late fitness test to take his place in the side, replacing Onoforo, who dropped to the bench.

Perth Soccer Club moved back to the top of the APB Premier Division, with a come from behind 2-1 win against Western Knights at Nash Field on Saturday.

Stuart Montgomery had given the home side the lead in the 50th minute, but Perth hit back two minutes later from defender Shaun Kilkelly, before Dom de Felice popped up with the winner on 67 minutes, to continue Perth's good record at Nash Field - they haven't lost there in the last six visits.

Both sides made one change to their starting line up's from last week. The Knights lost two goal hero, Daniel Trim with injury, he was replaced by Paul van Dongen. Perth lost influential midfielder Antonio Naglieri also to injury, his spot went to David Onoforo.
